Communist Revolution in North China, 1920-1927: An Investigation
into Organizational History

Can we reinvestigate the characteristics of the Chinese communist revolution in the early 1920s through a more extensive and comparative perspective? This article, which is based on materials pertaining to the organizational history of the Chinese Communist Party, will try to analyze the organizational distribution of the Chinese Communist Party and its membership. We not only want to reinvestigate the characteristics of the Chinese communist revolution before 1927 in north China, but also try to probe into the relationship between the Chinese Communist Party and the social and political context in which the communist revolution broke out.
